FAQs:

  • How can I rent an RV from Elite RV Travels?

    • Currently, we offer rentals through our online partners. Please fill out the form in the "Request a Quote" page and we will send you a link where you can complete your online booking. If you have any questions, please contact us via email or call us at (925)-895-1248.

  • Who can rent an RV?

    • Anybody at the age of 25 or older is able to rent an RV as long as they have a valid driver's license of at least two years.​

  • Can there be additional drivers?

    • We ask that you list all adults of 25 years of age and older who will be present in the vehicle as additional drivers so that they can be covered by insurance. 

  • Do I need a special license to operate the RV?

    •  No you don't, all you need is a valid driving license of two years or more. 

  • What is the minimum rental period?

    • 3 nights. 

  • When will the RV be delivered and picked up?

    • The vehicle will be delivered and picked up at an agreed time. It is not guaranteed that your preferred delivery time will be available but we try our best to accommodate each client. We ask for you to have the RV ready for pickup by the same time as it was delivered.  

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    • If you submit a cancellation request within 12 hours of making the reservation you'll get 100% back, regardless of when the reservation start date is. Refer to the table below with other refund options.

  • What if I want to use the vehicle longer than my reservation dates?

    • You must contact us as soon as possible to see if we can extend your allotted time. If we are able to extend your reservation, we will gladly do so. However, if we have another reservation for that specific vehicle, we won't be able to extend your trip and fees will apply if the vehicle is returned late. If you would like to extend the return time by a few hours it's $20 per hour; if you want to extend the reservation by a full 24 hour day, it's the standard cost of a night. The additional balance must be paid by credit card over the telephone once the extension is confirmed.

  • What if you can't extend my reservation but I come back more than 1 hour after ​the scheduled return time anyhow?

    • The late policy is as follows: first hour is grace period, second hour is $35. Clients arriving more than 2 hours late will be charged $50 per hour. Please stay in contact with us regarding your arrival time because we often have clients scheduled to pick up the RV right after you. 

  • How do you screen renters?

    • We issue a license check through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). ​

  • Do you refuse service to anyone?

    • So far all of our customers have been amazing but we reserve the right to refuse any rental/client.

  • What happens if we get into an accident?

    • Notify us right away so that we may assist you. We ask that you take detailed photos of every vehicle/property involved in the accident and take photos of the other party's insurance information and driver license(s).  

  • What happens if I get a ticket?

    • Notify us about all citations (traffic, parking, etc.) during vehicle pickup. The renter is responsible for paying the tickets. 

  • Can we bring our pets?

    • Unfortunately, we do not accommodate pets. If pet hair and/or odor is detected in the RV, you may be charged with a cleaning fee of up to $500.

  • What do I need to do prior to returning the RV?

    • We ask that you fill up the tank with gas to the same level at which you received it. Also, please refill the liquid propane and empty the gray and black water tanks. We can dump the tanks for you for $75. If you cannot refuel the RV we can do it for you for a $25 fee plus the cost of the gas and/or liquid propane. 

  • Can I tow my car or boat behind the RV?

    • Unfortunately, due to the safety reasons, towing of vehicles is not allowed with our RVs. ​

  • Are RVs difficult to operate?

    • No. When we deliver the RV, you will receive a 60-120 minute familiarization tour where you will learn how to hook up and operate all the appliances. We'll make sure you feel comfortable operating the vehicle. If you have any questions or forget something while on your trip we offer a 24-hour service to assist you.  

  • Do you permit smoking in the RV?

    • Smoking in our motor homes is strictly prohibited. If the vehicle is returned with a smoke odor, a cleaning fee of up to $500 will be charged. Please do not smoke in our RVs. 

  • How many miles are included with the reservation?

    • We offer you 100 free miles per night. Extra miles cost $0.35 per mile. There are no refunds on unused miles. 

  • Do you charge a cleaning and preparation charge?

    • Yes, a one time $75 fee.

  • Do you deliver the RV? ​

    • We are based in Mountain House, CA and offer delivery and pickup within 30 miles for $250. For delivery outside of these radius, please contact us.

  • Can I take the RV into the snow?​

    • Not all of our vehicles are winterized. If you are planning a snow, please notify us in advance and make sure to rent the appropriate RV.
